It has been quite a while since I have posted to this blog. For that I apologize. My temporary assignment working for an IT staff augmentation company has thrown off my writing schedule.
Changes are Coming
What I have done in that time is brought the production of 4A A Forgotten Evil nearly to completion. Also after some intense discussion with members of the OSR community, I have decided to revise both 0A The Tomb of Rakoss the Undying, and 1A The Inheritance to be more in line with the 1st advanced edition of the world’s most popular fantasy role playing game. I have also begun work on Mischief, Inc.’s next free adventure module 0B Barrow of the Orc King. Changes, changes, and more changes.
What does all this mean in terms of the production schedule, and what is to come?
Well I expect 4A A Forgotten Evil will be the first product out of the gate. I’m still not sure exactly when that will be, but I hope it will be by mid-June. As soon as I get an estimate back from the printer, the product page will change to reflect the release date.
After that, the revised version of 0A The Tomb of Rakoss the Undying is looking like it will come next. Look for not only revised stat presentation, but also changes to the default narrative. It will be more “modular” being able to more easily fit into existing campaigns, but also present information for use with the Twelve Kingdoms. Adding the information on Caer Arail will provide depth to the onset of the adventure.
After that 1A The Inheritance will go through the same kind of changes 0A received. Being a larger adventure, I expect it to take a bit longer to rewrite. I’d hope to see the revised edition released by August or September.
Beyond the Changes
Beyond that, I will be working on the follow ups to both 1A The Inheritance, and 4A A Forgotten Evil. I can’t make any promises at this point which will come first but they are 1B The Secret Shrine of Livora, and 4B What Lies Beneath.
